To better understand the complexities of the visual experience, this multi-phase project challenged me to break an image down into its basic building blocks of line, form, color, texture, and light/shade. I began by taking a photograph of the Montview Student Union on Liberty University’s campus, then analyzed it through a variety of handcrafted and digital techniques.
